The National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) is preparing to convene Peace Forum 2025 at Mingalar Thiri Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw from 25 to 27 June, 2025.
The event aim to generate consultations and gather constructive recommendations across key areas—political, security, economic, and national development—to support and advance the peace process. The Motto is “Towards a New Nation of Peace and Prosperity through the Integration of Peace, Elections and Development”. The theme is “To examine how peacebuilding and credible elections can promote national development and state stability, ultimately laying the groundwork for united Myanmar, fostering continuous, inclusive dialogue and strategic partnerships, engaging all stakeholders to identify concrete, people-centered pathways forward”.
International scholars, other relevant stakeholders from various levels, and senior government officials are invited to participate in Peace Forum 2025 and the following topics will be discussed at the forum:
(a) Successfully Conducting Election
(b) Identifying ways to cooperate for peace, transparent election, stability and development of the State
(c) Identifying strategies to address humanitarian needs and socio-economic challenges
(d) Identifying the role of international communities that can support peace and development in building a union based on democracy and federalism beyond election
(e) Analyzing how the future of Myanmar is interrelated with various geopolitical aspects and identifying strategies that should be applied in the transition.
The Peace Forum will be conducted with the following 4 objectives:
(a) To promote inclusive dialogue
(b) To Build Trust and Cooperation
(c) To address humanitarian assistance and socio-economic challenges
(d) To promote international cooperation for the stability and development of the State
